Trump Says Lack of Assistance Would Be 'Very Bad for the Future of NATO' -- WSJ

In an interview with the Financial Times, President Trump warned U.S. allies of a "very bad" future if they don't assist in opening the Strait of Hormuz. On Saturday, Trump urged the U.K., China, France, Japan and South Korea to send warships to the passage. He called on countries to do "whatever it takes" to help.
"If there's no response or if it's a negative response I think it will be very bad for the future of NATO," Trump told the Financial Times.
