Shanghai Tunnel Engineering (SHA:600820) subscribed for 3.10% of China Energy Engineering's (SHA:601868, HKG:3996) total shares for 3.50 billion yuan, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Friday.
The Chinese civil construction engineering company subscribed for 1,372,549,019 shares at 2.55 yuan per share.
The placed shares will be locked up for six months.
The company's shares fell less than 2% during the morning trade, while China Energy Engineering's Shanghai shares dipped over 5% and Hong Kong shares fell over 2%.
