Lincoln Educational CEO Says Q1 Student Start Rate Seen Rising 19%

Lincoln Educational Services (LINC) Chief Executive Scott Shaw said Thursday that the company expects its Q1 student start growth to increase 19% compared to a year ago.

At the company's investor day, Shaw said Q1 "is demonstrating the same positive student start trends we have experienced over the previous 13 quarters, and we now anticipate student start growth to increase 19% compared to the year-ago first quarter."

Lincoln Educational shares rose 11.3% in premarket activity.
