Oracle (ORCL) said Wednesday that it has introduced a generative AI-powered Smart Assistant in its Simphony Cloud Point-of-Sale system.

The tool helps restaurant staff with real-time intelligence to fix common technical and operational issues, the company said. Users can ask questions about issues such as login failures or printer issues and get instant, context-aware answers, the company said.

The Smart Assistant will be introduced globally to Simphony customers in over 100 languages within the next year, the company said.
