Zealand Pharma (ZEAL) said late Thursday its board has decided to increase its share capital by a nominal amount of 10,530 Danish Krone ($1633.3) divided into 10,530 new shares with a nominal value of 1 Danish Krone each.
The capital increase follows the exercise of warrants granted under one of its employee warrant programs, the company said.
The exercise price was 90.70 Danish Krone per share for 10,530 new shares. The total proceeds to Zealand Pharma from the capital increase amount to 955,071 Danish Krone, the company added.
The new shares allow dividend and other rights from the time of the respective warrant holder's exercise notice. Each new share is eligible for one vote at general meetings, according to the company.
After registering the capital increase with the Danish Business Authority, the company said its share capital will be about 71.5 million Danish Krone divided into 71.5 million shares, corresponding to a total of 71.5 million votes.
