Stocks to Watch Today: Micron, General Mills, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines -- WSJ

Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (JP: 9104): Shares in the Japanese shipping company rallied 12% after activist investor Elliott Investment Management revealed it had built a stake.

Micron Technology $(MU)$: The memory chip maker reports earnings after market close. Its market capitalization topped $500 billion at Tuesday's close, and its shares continued to advance in premarket trading.

Lululemon Athletica (LULU): The athletic apparel maker reported a fall in profit after it sold more products at a discount. The company also named a new director under pressure from its estranged founder. Shares slipped 2% premarket.

Unilever (UL, UK: ULVR): Shares in consumer-goods company fell more than 1% after Bloomberg reported that it is considering spinning off its food assets.

General Mills $(GIS)$: The Cheerios maker reports earnings before the market opens.

Coherent $(COHR)$, Lumentum $(LITE)$: Shares in the Nvidia-backed fiber-optic companies rallied premarket. The stocks, which are due to join the S&P 500 later this month, see-sawed Tuesday after the chip giant said it would use both copper and optical networking during its GTC conference in San Jose, Calif.
