True North Copper (ASX:TNC) said geological interpretation, prospectivity analysis, and fixed loop electromagnetic survey interpretation identified multiple copper-gold targets both within and beyond the current resource footprint at the Wynberg project in Queensland, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The project hosts an existing combined indicated and inferred mineral resource estimate of 640,000 tonnes at a 2.7 grams per tonne grade of gold for 56,100 ounces of gold on a granted mining lease.
Copper-gold mineralization intersected outside the current resource model includes an intercept of 10 meters at 6.7 grams per tonne grade of gold and 0.36% grade of copper from 29 meters.
Its shares fell 2% in recent trading on Tuesday.
