CT Vision (HKG:0994) said it plans to expand into the commercial aerospace business, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Monday.
Shares of the renewable energy company gained nearly 16% in late morning trade Tuesday.
The planned expansion coincides with China's government-level strategy to develop its aerospace capabilities, including in commercial aerospace.
