-- Unilever is considering a potential separation of its food assets, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

-- The company is weighing a spin-off of the entire food business, or keeping certain flagship brands while spinning off the rest, Bloomberg reported. It hasn't reached any final decisions and may not pursue a deal before next year, according to the article.

-- Unilever's food business would likely be valued at tens of billions of dollars in any transaction and could attract interest from potential buyers, according to Bloomberg. A Unilever representative declined to comment to Bloomberg.
