TotalEnergies (TTE) said Tuesday that it has started production from the Quiluma gas field in Angola, where it holds an 11.8% stake, alongside partners Azule Energy, Cabinda Gulf Oil, and Sonangol E&P.
The company said the project is the first gas field in Angola developed specifically for gas production and will supply gas to the Angola LNG plant.
The field is expected to produce about 330 million cubic feet of gas per day, equal to roughly 2 million tons of LNG per year at peak output, the company added.
