March 6 (Reuters) - The tech-heavy Nasdaq led Wall Street's main stock indexes higher on Monday, with Meta among the top gainers after a report said the megacap was preparing for sweeping AI-related layoffs, while the Middle East conflict kept risk-taking in check. .N

At 1331 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.83% at 46,944.87.The S&P 500 .SPX was up 1.07% at 6,703.17, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 1.35% at 22,403.30.
