At the time of writing, the position is now worth $11,358,056,558.30. This means the additional Chubb shares and the gains for the stock over the last year have added $3,888,622,558.29 to the Berkshire Hathaway investment portfolio.\nChubb is one of the largest property and casualty insurance companies in the world. Investors in the company have been rewarded in recent years, with the stock having only one down year (2018) over the last 16 years through 2025.\nThe company has shown earnings power in recent quarters, beating analyst estimates in 11 straight quarters.
