Hyundai Motor (KRX:005380) and affiliate Kia (KRX:000270) expanded their collaboration with US chipmaker Nvidia to boost autonomous driving technology and the global software-defined vehicle (SDV) ecosystem, according to a Tuesday news release.
The partnership will combine Hyundai Motor's SDV expertise with Nvidia's autonomous driving technology to develop next-generation solutions, the release said.
Shares of Hyundai Motor rose more than 3%, while those of Kia added 4% in Wednesday morning trade.
