Lightspeed Commerce (LSPD) said Tuesday it has launched an artificial intelligence-powered automation tool that is designed to help retailers improve inventory accuracy, speed up product availability, and reduce stock discrepancies.
The company's optical character recognition tool matches information scanned from invoices against existing catalog records to validate entries and reduce duplicates before inventory is finalized, Lightspeed Commerce said.
The automation tool is currently available in beta for select customers, and a broader availability is planned for the spring of 2026, according to the company.
