Apollo and Bain Capital Among Bidders for Continental AG's ContiTech Unit, Bloomberg Says, Citing Sources

--Apollo Global Management and Bain Capital are among the private equity firms bidding for Continental AG's ContiTech business, Bloomberg says, citing people familiar with the matter.

--Advent and CVC Capital Partners have teamed up to make an offer for the business, while Platinum Equity, KPS Capital Partners and Clearlake Capital have also progressed to the next round of bidding, the report says.

--A deal could value ContiTech at between 3.5 billion and just over 4 billion euros ($4.07 billion-$4.65 billion), the report says.

--Representatives for Apollo, Advent, Bain, Clearlake, Continental, CVC, KPS and Platinum declined to comment, Bloomberg says.
