Sector Update: Health Care Stocks Flat to Higher Pre-Bell Monday

Health care stocks were flat to higher pre-bell Monday, with the iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) inactive and the State Street Health Care Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLV) up 1.5%.

Apogee Therapeutics (APGE) stock was up more than 16% after the company said 52-week maintenance data from Part A of its phase two trial of zumilokibart in patients with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis demonstrated durable maintenance response and "deepening" response for lesional and itch endpoints.

Bausch + Lomb (BLCO) shares were up more than 5% after the company said the US clinical trial of its Elios system for the treatment of elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open angle glaucoma showed statistically significant intraocular pressure reduction after 24 months.

Ionis Pharmaceuticals (IONS) shares were up more than 1% after the company said the US Food and Drug Administration granted priority review designation for its new drug application for zilganersen as a potential treatment for Alexander disease.
