Users are reporting some issues with Charles Schwab's digital platforms on Wednesday afternoon. Upon opening the Schwab mobile app, one message informed users that "Certain functionality on Schwab.com and our mobile app may intermittently be slow or unavailable. Clients may intermittently be unable to submit move money requests... Please accept our apologies as we work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible."

Reports of issues on the outage-tracking website Down Detector started climbing around noon and surged again a few hours later. The brokerage says it has fixed the problem: "A technical issue intermittently impacted some trading-related features for clients. Our technology teams have resolved the issue and clients should soon have this issue resolved," a Schwab spokeswoman said. "We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Only a small subset of our clients were impacted."
