Meta Platforms' (META) Chief Technology Officer Andrew Bosworth is taking charge of the company's "AI for Work" initiative, the Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday, citing an internal memo.

The initiative was led by another executive previously, according to the report.

"The early pilots, the willingness to pressure-test new ideas, and the speed at which we've enabled teams to embrace AI tools has created real momentum and sets us up for this next phase," the Journal quoted Bosworth as saying in the memo to employees.

Meta did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
