Hilton Metal Forging (NSE:HILTON, BOM:532847) has secured a contract worth 7.20 billion Indian rupees to supply empty artillery shells, according to a Thursday filing on Indian bourses.
Shares of the company jumped over 17% in Friday's trade.
The contract involves supplying 360,000 units of 155mm M107 shells at the rate of 15,000 units per month, the filing said.
The order will be executed over 24 months, subject to approval of a sample batch and receipt of advance, the filing added.
