Biwin Storage Technology (SHA:688525) agreed to purchase a certain type of memory wafer from an unnamed manufacturer for up to $1.50 billion, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Wednesday.
The agreement is valid until March 31, 2028.
The Chinese memory chip application products manufacturer's shares jumped 7% during morning trade.
