CERAWEEK-Cheniere CEO Fusco says company has been operating at maximum capacity for past five years

HOUSTON, March 25 (Reuters) - Cheniere CEO Jack Fusco said Wednesday that the LNG producer has been operating at maximum capacity for the past five years. The company is doing whatever it can to help customers affected by the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and is looking at maintenance schedules, he said at the CERAWeek conference in Houston, adding that he's seeing demand conservation measures in parts of Asia.

Fusco is hopeful the company can start commercial operations at its Train 5 expansion by Friday and get cargoes to Asia. Europe remains the company's market of choice, while growth will come from Asia, he said.
