CHICAGO, March 27 (Reuters) - Cash basis bids for corn and soybeans were mostly flat at elevators, river terminals, ethanol plants and other types of processors in a spot check of locations in the U.S. Midwest on Friday.
The basis for corn and soybeans firmed at an elevator in Cincinnati, Ohio. The corn basis ticked down at a river terminal in Davenport, Iowa. Other locations in the spot check were unchanged.
Cash markets remained relatively quiet this week, according to analysts.
Chicago soybean futures ticked lower on profit taking on Friday, while wheat and corn were choppy due to uncertainty over the Iran war, with corn also pressured by pre-weekend technical selling. GRA/
