Legence shares were up 5%, at $55.67, after the company reported fourth-quarter revenue that was 35% higher than last year.
The company hit its 52-week high of $60.50 earlier in the session, and is up 25% year-to-date.
The engineering and construction company said it had quarterly revenue of $737.6 million, compared with $548.2 million in the same quarter last year. Analysts polled by FactSet were looking for revenue of $619.3 million.
Legence had a quarterly loss of $32.7 million, or 55 cents a share. Analysts were looking for earnings of $3.9 million, or five cents a share.
For the first quarter, the company said it is expecting revenue of $925 million to $950 million, while analysts are looking for revenue of $709 million. For 2026, the company is expecting revenue of $3.7 billion to $3.9 billion, above the $3.46 billion analysts have forecast.
Backlog and awarded contracts totaled $3.7 billion at Dec. 31, an increase of 48.6% from $2.5 billion at Dec. 31, 2024.
