Taiwan's consumer confidence fell in March, with the Consumer Confidence Index (CCI) dropping to 62.3 points from 66.58 in February, the Central Taiwan Economic Development Research Center at National Central University reported on Friday.
All six sub-indicators declined, led by stock investment timing, which fell 5.58 points to 22.88, followed by expected price levels, which slid by 4.71 points to 32.4.
Confidence in purchasing durable goods, domestic economic conditions, and household finances also slipped, while employment opportunities saw the smallest drop to 70.18 points, the data showed.
