Accenture (ACN) won a contract to support the National Weather Service's effort to modernize the system used by US forecasters nationwide to generate and share weather, water and climate forecasts and warnings.
Accenture said Tuesday its federal services unit will help replace the agency's Advanced Weather Interactive Processing System with the Hydrometeorological Interactive Virtual Environment, or HIVE.
