Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable's (SHA:601869, HKG:6869) net profit for the year attributable to shareholders in 2025 rose 20% year on year to 813.7 million yuan, or 1.07 yuan per share, according to a Hong Kong filing on Saturday.
The Chinese cable manufacturer's Shanghai shares jumped 6%, while Hong Kong shares rose 4% during Monday's morning trade.
The attributable profit a year earlier was 675.9 million yuan, or 0.89 yuan per share.
Operating income climbed 17% to 14.3 billion yuan from 12.2 billion yuan in the previous year.
