Shares of several companies moved sharply on Monday following earnings announcements over the weekend, as the corporate earnings season winds down ahead of the Easter holiday-long weekend.
TCL Electronics (HKG:1070) jumped over 12% after reporting HK$2.50 billion in attributable profit for 2025, up 42% from HK$1.76 billion in 2024. Revenue rose 15% to HK$114.6 billion.
Aluminum Corporation of China or Chalco (HKG:2600, SHA:601600) advanced 7% in Hong Kong after posting a modest rise in full-year profit and revenue.
Annual net profit grew 2.3% to 12.7 billion yuan, while revenue climbed 1.7% to 241.1 billion yuan.
Weigao Group Medical Polymer (HKG:1066) slumped 18% after recording a 22% drop in profit to 1.61 billion yuan, though revenue edged up 2.3% to 13.4 billion yuan.
Meanwhile, BYD (HKG:1211, SHE:002594) closed marginally lower after its attributable profit declined 19% to 32.6 billion yuan, but revenue increased 3.5% to 804 billion yuan.
Lastly, Meitu (HKG:1357) shed 9% after its attributable profit fell to 582.9 million yuan in 2025 from 805.2 million yuan a year prior. Revenue, on the other hand, rose 29% to 3.86 billion yuan.
