American fashion company Nordstrom will start to sell clothing from Marks & Spencer in stores and online, as the U.K. retailer makes a push into stores in the U.S.
M&S said that the partnership with Nordstrom will boost reach and brand awareness for its clothing, especially among younger audiences. M&S after previously entered the U.S. food market through a partnership with Target.
As its clothing is already sold through a U.S. website, customers are already aware of M&S as a fashion brand, the company said. It previously launched a wholesale partnership with David Jones in Australia.
"Marks & Spencer is known globally for delivering quality and style at a value, and we're excited to help introduce their bestselling items to U.S. customers," said Emily Crandall, executive vice president and general merchandise manager of women's and men's apparel at Nordstrom.
