PetroChina says Strait of Hormuz oil and gas supplies account for roughly 10% of its operations

BEIJING, March 30 (Reuters) - State-owned oil major PetroChina's 0857.HK 601857.SS oil refining and natural gas businesses are operating normally overall, the company's chairman said on Monday, adding that oil and gas supplies via the Strait of Hormuz account for roughly 10% of its operations.

"Crude oil and gas supplies via equity production outside the Middle East, as well as supplies under long-term contracts sourced from non-Middle East regions, account for roughly 90% of PetroChina's crude processing and natural gas sales," said Houliang Dai, the chairman of PetroChina, at a briefing on the company's 2025 results.
