Prosus Likely to Sell Delivery Hero Stake -- Market Talk

Dow Jones03-30

1123 GMT - Dutch tech investor Prosus is more likely than not to divest its stake in Delivery Hero, analysts at Bank of America write. The group, which is Tencent's largest shareholder, is in talks to sell its 10% stake to Hong Kong-based Aspex Management, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing sources. "A stake sale remains the most likely scenario," the analysts say. More broadly, the group is in investment mode and is focusing on its stable of food delivery businesses, the analysts write. The group is unlikely to put to use the $8 billion it had earmarked for mergers and acquisitions, the analysts say. Prosus shares climb 0.2%, while Delivery Hero shares fall 1.4%.
