AustAsia Group (HKG:2425) narrowed its attributable loss by 41% to 750.6 million yuan in 2025 from 1.27 billion yuan a year prior, according to a March 27 Hong Kong bourse filing.

Shares of the dairy farmer were up 6% in Monday afternoon trading.

Loss per share stood at 0.92 yuan, compared with 1.81 yuan in the previous fiscal year.

Revenue was 2.47 billion yuan in the year, down 5.9% from 3.68 billion yuan in the prior-year period.

The firm attributed the narrower loss to a rise in gross profit and lower losses arising from changes in fair value less costs to sell of other biological assets.
