CGN New Energy (HKG:1811) recorded an 11% rise in attributable profit in 2025 to $275.9 million from $248 million a year prior, according to a Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing.

The power company's earnings per share stood at $0.0643, an increase from $0.0578 in the previous fiscal year.

Revenue slipped 13% to $1.69 billion from $1.95 billion in the year-ago period.

The firm attributed the higher profit to a gain on the disposal of a subsidiary and the absence of a recognition of impairment losses in respect of property, plant, and equipment as seen in 2024.

The company recommended a final dividend of $0.0161 per share for the year, payable June 23 to shareholders of record on June 9, subject to shareholder approval.
