0433 GMT - China Merchants Port's 2026 earnings are likely to recover on lower credit-cost drag and improved associate contribution, says DBS Group Research's Maggie Wang in a note. While the Hong Kong-listed port operator's 2025 earnings missed DBS's estimates, the analyst expects net profit to rebound 19% in 2026. She raises her 2026 revenue forecast by 6.0% to reflect overall throughput growth and continued tariff uplift across both China and overseas terminals. The port operator has no major asset exposure to the core Persian Gulf region, limiting any drag from the Middle East conflict, she adds. DBS retains its buy rating and HK$18.00 target price. Shares last closed 2.2% higher at HK$14.81. (megan.cheah@wsj.com)
