1037 GMT - Airbus seems less likely to meet its 2026 delivery target, says Mwb-Research analyst Jens-Peter Rieck. The European aerospace group delivered just 129 aircraft in the first quarter, according to a Mwb-Research estimate, falling below the 136 deliveries posted last year. This first-quarter result leaves Airbus materially behind what would be needed to support its full-year target of 870 aircraft, Rieck says. Supply chain bottlenecks continue to impact deliveries, and Airbus is still struggling to bring the situation under control, he adds. The probability of Airbus cutting its delivery guidance when it releases its first-quarter results looks higher now, Rieck says. Shares are down 2.5% at 163.64 euros.(cristina.gallardo@wsj.com)
