0957 ET - Shopify's accelerating fundamentals are clear, but the absence of annual guidance continues to "intensify investor debates around the durability of Shopify's recent momentum," says Oppenheimer's Ken Wong. The analyst notes that Shopify delivered over 30% revenue growth in FY25, outpacing the prior two years on "resilient consumer spending dynamics, AI/agentic commerce initiatives, and growing enterprise traction." Yet management doesn't disclose yearly guidance, which leaves investors without a firm anchor, he says, even as 1Q growth in the low 30%s mirrors 4Q. Wong says Shopify's execution is strong, but the guidance vacuum keeps uncertainty elevated. (adriano.marchese@wsj.com)
