1054 ET - Despite the concerns about AI's impact on software, JPMorgan analysts say in a report that nCino seems to be adapting well to the new technology. Adoption of the company's AI tools is rising among customers, particularly for credit reviews, credit monitoring, auto spreading and the locate-and-file capability, which allows for the automated extraction and filing of documents. The company is also accelerating its shift from seat-based to platform or outcomes pricing, with 38% of its annual contract value already having migrated away. "nCino's system-of-record, compliance guardrails, and proprietary banking data make it better positioned versus emerging AI players for regulated financial institutions," the analysts say. nCino climbs 11%.(nicholas.miller@wsj.com)
