Klarna Sells $1.97 Billion in Loans to Free Up Capital

Klarna (KLAR) said Wednesday that it has completed a significant risk transfer covering 1.7 billion euros ($1.97 billion) in loans, freeing up capital to support growth.

The company said the three-year deal, with a consortium led by Varde Partners, will improve the efficiency of its global capital deployment.
