TC Transcontinental acquired Phipps Dickson Integria Group, which provides production services for large signs and displays and commercial printing.
TC Transcontinental said Wednesday that PDI's production facilities will expand its capabilities in Quebec. PDI is based in Kirkland and Laval, Quebec, and employs 180 people.
The companies did not disclose the price or terms of the transaction.
TC Transcontinental said the deal is part of its efforts to grow its in-store marketing business.
"It strengthens our ability to offer our customers integrated solutions across the country, from design through to production and distribution," said Sam Bendavid, who is slated to become TC Transcontinental's next chief executive on April 6.
The deal follows TC Transcontinental's acquisitions of Middleton Group, Intergraphics and Mirazed last year.
"Having now acquired four businesses in less than a year, we are demonstrating our ability to identify, integrate and optimize quality businesses that align with our vision," Bendavid said.
TC Transcontinental's in-store marketing business brings in annualized sales of close to $300 million, including the recent acquisitions, the company said.
