Kusuri No Aoki's Nine-Month Profit Rises 10%

Kusuri No Aoki's (TYO:3549) profit attributable to owners rose 10% to 15.4 billion yen for the nine months ended Feb. 20 from 13.9 billion yen a year earlier.

The pharmaceutical company's basic earnings per share increased to 157.82 yen from 137.65 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Thursday.

Net sales jumped 14% to 422.8 billion yen from 371.9 billion yen in the prior-year period.

For the fiscal year ending May 20, the company expects attributable profit of 15.5 billion yen, basic EPS of 153.31 yen, and net sales of 560 billion yen.

Kusuri No Aoki plans to pay a year-end dividend of 48 yen per share.
