SAIC Motor's (SHA:600104) sales slid 2.6% to 375,870 units in March from 385,742 units in the year-ago period, according to a Friday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
Total production declined 9.1% to 355,336 units from 390,727 units a year earlier.
Shares fell 2% during midday trade on Friday.
