Rivian Automotive 1Q Production Falls

Rivian Automotive said its first-quarter production of vehicles fell, but was is in line with the carmaker's outlook for the year.

The electric-vehicle company on Thursday said it produced 10,236 vehicles at its manufacturing facility in Normal, Ill., and delivered 10,365 vehicles during the same period. According to FactSet, analysts had expected 11,000 deliveries.

A year ago, the Rivian produced 14,611 vehicles and delivered 8,640 vehicles.

The Irvine, Calif. company said the results were in line with its expectations and that it is sticking by its guidance for the year to produce between 62,000 and 67,000 vehicles in 2026.
