AEON Financial Service's Profit Jumps 35% in Fiscal 2026

AEON Financial Service's (TYO:8570) profit attributable to owners of the parent jumped 35% to 21.1 billion yen for the fiscal year 2026 from 15.6 billion yen a year earlier.

The financial services firm's earnings per share increased to 97.70 yen from 72.47 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Wednesday.

Operating revenue rose 6.8% to 569.4 billion yen for the full year ended Feb. 28 from 533.3 billion yen in the prior year.

It declared a final dividend of 28 yen per share, payable from May 7.

For the fiscal year ending Feb. 28, 2027, the company expects an attributable profit of 15 billion yen, net income per share of 69.48 yen, and operating revenue of 600 billion yen.

AEON Financial Service plans to pay interim and year-end dividends of 25.00 yen and 28.00 yen per share, respectively, for the current fiscal year, similar to the amount paid in the year-ago period.
