PTT Exploration and Production Likely to Benefit From Rising Oil Prices -- Market Talk

Dow Jones04-06

0332 GMT - PTT Exploration and Production stands to benefit from high oil prices, CGS International's Amornrat Cheevavichawalkul says in a report. Rising oil prices could boost the company's 2026 full-year gas price to $6.00 per metric million British thermal unit from $5.7/mmBtu forecast previously, the analyst says. Production disruptions in the Middle East has likely led to a deficit of 1.2 million-1.5 million barrels per day in 2026 in the global oil market. This prompts CGS International to lift its Brent crude forecast to $86.5 per barrel from $78 per barrel for 2026 and to $75 per barrel from $70 per barrel for 2027. It raises the stock's target price to THB179.00 from THB165.00 with an unchanged add rating. Shares last closed at THB157.00. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
