An Iranian missile struck the Neot Hovav industrial zone in southern Israel on Sunday, a week after it was hit in a previous Iranian strike. The Neot Hovav industrial zone, which houses several Israeli factories, said that there were no injuries and there was no risk of release of hazardous materials.
The strike appeared to be a response to recent Israeli attacks on Iranian petrochemicals factories. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said Sunday that the Israeli air force has struck and stopped the activity of key petrochemical facilities a day earlier and accused the industry of bringing in money for Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
