Anheuser-Busch InBev said it was dropping its sponsorship of a London music festival set to be headlined by Kanye West, following other major companies that have pulled out of the planned event.

The company is the latest high-profile sponsor to drop out of Wireless Festival, scheduled to be held in London's Finsbury Park this summer. West, who now goes by Ye, was named as the marquee performer for the music festival last week.

The rapper has been trying to move past years of controversies that have included calling slavery a "choice," denying the Holocaust and praising Adolf Hitler. West has apologized, saying he has been grappling for years with mental health struggles.

U.K. politicians have criticized the festival's booking of West, with Prime Minister Keir Starmer calling it "deeply concerning."

Over the weekend, PepsiCo and Diageo both pulled their sponsorships. The festival had been marketed as "Pepsi Max Presents Wireless" in promotional materials.

AB-InBev said on Monday it too would drop its sponsorship. The alcohol company's Budweiser and BeatBox brands had previously been listed as sponsors.

Representatives of West and Wireless didn't immediately comment.
