FactSet Research Systems is parting ways with its chief financial officer, Helen Shan, and has hired Joshua Warren as the financial-data provider's new finance chief, effective April 13.

FactSet on Wednesday said Shan, who has been executive vice president and finance chief of the Norwalk, Conn., company since July 2024, will be eligible for severance benefits upon her termination of employment.

The company didn't specify a reason for Shan's departure but said it wasn't due to any disagreement regarding its accounting practices, financial statements or financial condition.

FactSet said Shan, who also served as chief financial officer from September 2018 through October 2021 and as chief revenue officer from May 2021 through August 2024, will remain with the company for a transition period, during which she will be eligible to receive her base salary and fiscal 2026 bonus.

Warren, 46 years old, most recently served as finance chief of financial-technology company Envestnet.

FactSet said Warren will receive an annual base salary of $500,000 and an annual bonus with a target of 110% of his base pay.
