Centene Creates Two New Executive Leadership Positions

Centene unveiled a new leadership structure that includes the creation of two new executive posts reporting to Chief Executive Sarah London.

Centene on Monday said it has hired Daniel Finke as group president of markets and commercial, overseeing the St. Louis managed-care company's Medicaid and commercial segments.

Finke had been CEO of specialized healthcare technology and services company Convey Health Solutions and previously served as executive vice president of CVS Health and president of its Aetna unit.

Centene said Michael Carson, who joined the company in January 2024 as CEO of its Wellcare Medicare business, has taken on the expanded post of group president of Medicare and specialty, with oversight of the company's Medicare Advantage, Medicare Part D, duals and specialty businesses.
