SK Hynix (KRX:000660) developed its first 321-layer QLC NAND flash-based solid-state drive (SSD) and has begun supplying it to Dell Technologies.
The SSD uses QLC technology and advanced stacking to boost storage density, while SLC caching improves read-write speeds, SK Hynix said in a Wednesday release.
The chipmaker plans to expand partnerships with other key global clients, the release said.
Shares of the company surged nearly 13% at market close.
