1355 ET [Dow Jones]--There is less certainty around travel demand than many were expecting heading into the second quarter of this year, Truist analysts say. The conflict in Iran, as well as potentially increasing inflation could impact the macroeconomic environment, the analysts say. They think travelers may choose to keep trips regional and domestic to avoid conflict areas and rising fuel costs. The analysts lower their price targets for Booking and Expedia, with the Middle East conflict predicted to have a bigger impact on Booking. "We treat 2Q with more uncertainty today than the 'normalization' of travel bookings we were generally expecting for this year," they say. (katherine.hamilton@wsj.com)
