Consumer stocks were steady premarket Monday, with the State Street Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLY) inactive and the State Street Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLP) up a slight 0.1%.
Village Farms International (VFF) said it launched a succession planning process for Chief Financial Officer Stephen Ruffini, who will remain in that role until a permanent replacement is identified. Shares of Village Farms International were up more than 1% pre-bell.
